RULES
There is no limit as to how many films a Film Maker can submit. However, each film can only be submitted once per category.
Multiple entries are allowed. You can submit more than one film to the same category or different categories.
The official language of the Festival is English, Submissions in languages other than English must be subtitled in English.
All submissions are final. No refunds are provided.
The Festival Committee has the right to reject films if the content or technical quality does not correspond to the Festival conditions.
We accept short films up to 30 minutes, fiction, documentary, or other narrative forms, depending on the category. Films longer than 30 minutes are feature and not short.
– The sender of the submitted film is responsible for all copyrights. The applicant is legally authorized to enter the film in the festival and, if selected for the festival, authorized to give screening permission.
-If selected for the festival the applicant acknowledges and agrees that the film may be displayed in front of a live audience unless requested otherwise by the author.
The film remains the property of the author.
Every effort will be made to adhere to the published schedule, however, Portugal Indie Film Festival reserves the right to make changes at any time, for any reason.
Portugal Indie Film Festival will not be liable for any costs claimed as a result of a change in schedule.
-A selection of winners will be chosen for our yearly event where films, parts of films, or trailers, will be projected in front of a live audience.
